My Light                  

You are the Light

In my world of Darkness.

You help me see beyond

The shadows of Night.

In your arms I feel Healing,

My Soul sees a Life ahead.

Before you I am kneeling,

Banished are the Thoughts of the Living Dead.

My Lord hath sent thee,

My Lover, my Life!

From Evil you have delivered me,

That wonder filled day I became your Wife!

My Heart came to you by this World broken;

By your Love and Patience I regained Life’s Joys.

Trust has returned, no need for Words spoken,

Blessed feel I with the Gift of our Boys!

When God sees fit to call me Home,

I shall leave with a happy Heart;

No longer a need on this old World to roam;

Confident together thru Eternity we travel -Never again to Part!
