~Midnight Memories~
Red Roses - oh how they smell Clusters of Daisy’s by passing years swell Yes, how I remember them all so well All the tales that I could tell!
Snap Dragons arising so tall Sweet Alyssum’s creeping along delicate and small Night Blooming Cactus climbing the wall In Memory I still walk amongst them all!
Chasing fluttering Butterflies Gray Fluffy Cat with yellow eyes Aroma of baking Cherry pies A Summers Dream that never dies!
Childhoods sweet Memories Swinging beneath the Walnut trees Falling off bikes and scraping knees Let me not forget those Wonder filled years -God Please!
Hot Cocoa steaming in the air Innocent World without a care Oh how I wish I could go back there Not much more time to spare!
The Days are passing way too fast Nothing good now seems to last Nightly Dreams are all of the past Now that Fate’s Die hath been cast!
Heavenly Father hold my hand If someday soon I leave this land I make of Thee only one demand Please leave some of the Best Memories, Imprinted in the Sand!
